thoughts from a drunk

Do I love him or am I drowning all the sorrow in the alcohol

And burying all the thoughts of missing 1000 miles away?

My tongue is burning

And I’m not sure if it’s from the words or the booze.

These dirstractions won’t hold for very long.

He won’t come back just like that.

Drinking won’t black out the pain.

Won’t bring him back.

Won’t make this person love you.

The burn on my tongue is
